Hunting for an Easter egg in the New Forest, Hampshire

Wellingtonia Avenue Road
one big giant red wood tree.
National Park details.

On the Good Friday, I went for a walked in the new forest in Hampshire. I have been there few times in the past. We set off about 11 am, which was a Good Friday. The weather was very nice on that particular day though.
On our way, we had stopped off at Wellingtonia Avenue in Finchampstead, Bershire.  We had also been there before. The giant redwoods is very tall tree. The trees were planted in 1869. The name came from the Duke of Wellington.

I was amazed that I can capture this.
camping for a night

An hour later, we driving to the new forest but the traffic weren’t good as there were too many cars heading to Southampton. Luckily for us, we get there in the difference route.
History of the New Forest National Park was created for the royal hunting which mainly deer. The England king at that time was William I.
The forest area covers 220 sq miles in southern of England.

We went there because of the big giant red wood and the sequoia tree. My partner loves wildlife and nature. He has been to the Yosemite national park in California and he felt in love with the tree. This is the reason of why we have to go there for our Easter hunt.

When we arrived there it was about 2pm. We had our lunch at the bench in the park. We bought our left over from our shopping from London supermarket, after our lunch we starting to walk in the park. There was a lot of people with the family and the dogs. We was walking and taking some photos, I want to take my bicycle with me but it was too difficult to put in the car, I think one day I might be able to bring the bike with me and ride around the park.

Around 4 pm., we think we should heading back to London as again we don’t want to stuck in the traffic jam. We arrived back about nearly 9pm on Friday. We couldn’t get any egg though and at the end we stop off at the moto way to get an Easter in stead

Gardening time

My proud mango
Last summer in June, I bought a very sweet mango from East Street market. After, I had eaten it in my garden and left mango stone (seed) in the sail. I forgot about it until my partner told me that he going to dig up some weed in the garden, and he found the strange weeds, which does not looked like a normal one. I went out and told him that this is a mango plant. He couldn’t believe it because actually he never seen one. Anyway, I show him that this is the mango as the seed still there. That was around September last year.

Anyway, we moved the mango tree in to the pot. We left the mango plant in the pot on the windowsill in side the house. I want the mango to survive for the winter. The tree is growing but not that fast because the tree has a long life left in them.

Beginning of this year, I went out to do some shopping at Asda and bought a pack of lychee which came over from Madagascar and still fresh. After, I ate them I was thinking maybe I could growth this fruit, I did some research on an Internet about how to growth it. I found a few on youtube. I did what the guy has show from youtube. A few months later I opened the lychee and I found it is growing. I was so happy. I had transfer to the plant pots since nearly early April. I hope it growing soon. I just have to keep my finger cross.
The Lychee is sprouting
The indoor bird chilly
After The mango growth, I felt that I can growth a lot of things. I tried ginger, lemongrass, Thai mint and Thai bird chillies. Some of them do not growth very well with the changeable season, and also I don’t have enough space to keep it. The chillies growing in a very tall nearly as tell as me, I supposed because its needs to reach to the sunshine. I have about 4 chillies in total. During summer season, I put them outside as its going to be better for them, last summer, it has produced a lot of flower but only a few has survived as the winter arrived. I still keep them in the house at the moment waiting for the warm weather coming soon.
Survive lemongrass
The lemon grass has survived from the winter and I hope it will growth bigger soon. I am also planning to grown the ginger, which I bought fresh one from the market for £1. The ginger is sprouting at the moment as soon as the weather is better, I will put in the plant pot soon
I will up date my plants later on.

I think for the Burmese people their future will be brighter than before. I will be visited in the future someday. I have seen the picture from a friend of mine whose has been there recently. The Burmese temple and the villages are incredible beautiful. I hope the good things will come to Burmese people after this election.

This news is not very good for the people in the England. This is April and the new tax year starting from today. The bad new for this month before school going away for Easter holiday. I personally, would like to go away for my holiday but as the price of everything has gone up since after New Year. This news it’s not good for all air passenger as we have to pay for the high airfare and then adding extra cost after that.

As you may know from today that the cost of prescription has goes up from today from £ 7.65. I am lucky that I don’t have to see the doctor but may be one in the full moon. I know that if I need an eye drop from my local GP I will have to pay £7.65. I would rather popping by at my local supermarket example Asda or Tesco. I will get the same medication for half of that price.

The Game shop was in administration.

The game company was bought back by a private group after the company has gone into a bankruptcy last week. The private company has save the firm and the workers which is a good news at the end for all employee.
